Endodontic treatment for tooth #28 was completed today without any complications. (Patient) did a great job with treatment and is really feeling much better! Upon access, the pulp was confirmed to be vital and inflamed. A single canal was identified, shaped (0.04 taper NiTi rotary instruments, crown-down, WL=22mm), cleaned (irrigated with 36ml 8.25% NaCl, 12 ml 17% EDTA under negative apical pressure and agitated with passive ultrasonic instrumentation) and obturated with gutta percha and BC sealer. Access was closed with composite. Prognosis is favorable.
