SOMETIMES, WE’RE  GUILTY OF ASSUMING TOO MUCH, RIGHT?

We recently realized that we’ve probably wrongly assumed that ALL of you—our valued patients—know Kara as well as we do! That’s probably not the case.

So, We Asked Kara A Few Questions

We asked Kara a few questions to help you get to  know her a little better. Those questions are found below—along  with her candid answers! Enjoy!

Where are you originally from?

I was born at home in Troy, MT…my mom and dad are quite the hippies!

What made you decide that you wanted to  become a Patient Coordinator and Dental Assistant?

I have always loved teeth. The minute a person smiles I’m drawn to them.

When you started as a dental assistant was  there something funny that happened? Do you dare tell us that story?

Why yes… I  was taking a radiograph of a tooth that we were preparing for a crown. I  told the patient to be very careful as the crown was not yet cemented.  When I went in to take the crown back it was gone! I stayed calm and I  asked the patient if he had felt anything in his mouth? He said no and began to sit up and started laughing. He had taken it out and hidden it under his leg. He thought he was so funny!

What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not at work?

Dance… not one day goes by that I don’t bust a move!

What do you enjoy most about being a dental assistant?

The relationships I get to create with our patients. I love to set people at ease.
